Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Machinist to join our team at Saginaw Products Corporation. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining complex machinery, ensuring high-quality production and meeting production targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain precision machinery, including mills and lathes, to produce high-quality parts and products.
  • Program and set up machinery, using advanced software and techniques, to optimize production efficiency and quality.
  • Conduct quality control checks and inspections to ensure products meet specifications and standards.
  • Mentor and train junior team members to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Machine shop courses or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, and stand for long periods.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail and quality.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
