Your Expertise:
- Strong background in writing for mobile applications, with a keen understanding of UX principles and best practices.
- Proven ability to generate and present innovative ideas, particularly within a tech-driven environment.
- Excellent collaboration skills, with experience working closely with designers, product managers, and cross-functional teams.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine microcopy for new features on the mobile app, ensuring language is consistent, accessible, and aligned with UX best practices.
- Collaborate closely with product designers and managers to brainstorm, conceptualize, and develop new product ideas.
- Create new features, audit content for quality and consistency, and work with localization and user research teams to ensure effective communication across different languages and regions.
- Conduct A/B testing to optimize copy performance and make data-driven decisions to improve user experience.
- Lead and contribute to impactful projects, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement within the app.
- Present your ideas and strategic decisions to senior leaders, persuading them with your point of view and thought process.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years in tech writing, UX writing, or app writing within the tech industry.
- Prior experience writing for mobile applications is essential. Web UX writing experience will not be considered.
- Experience with A/B testing and writing variations is required for testing purposes.
- Demonstrated ability to craft engaging and effective content for mobile app experiences.
- Experience using Figma for design collaboration is needed.
- Open to feedback and willing to work closely with team members, showcasing strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think critically about writing choices and articulate the rationale behind them.
- Must be willing to work a hybrid schedule in our client's Los Angeles, CA office, four days a week.
