Perception Records, a record label based in Denver, CO, is seeking a talented and self-motivated Social Media Manager to join our team. This is a remote position offering the opportunity to work with a diverse roster of artists and contribute to our digital presence across various social media platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of social media presence across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and others as relevant.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and growth.
  • Create and maintain a content calendar aligned with company objectives and artist releases.
  • Craft compelling and engaging social media posts, stories, and campaigns.
  • Write captivating and on-brand captions that resonate with our audience.
  • Monitor social media channels for trends, opportunities, and potential issues.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to gather content and ensure consistent messaging.
  • Analyze social media insights and metrics to optimize content performance and inform future strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging platforms to drive innovation and growth.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, preferably in the music or entertainment industry.
  • Excellent written communication skills with a strong ability to write engaging copy.
  • Solid understanding of social media platforms, their respective audiences, and best practices.
  • Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and generate new ideas.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, while also collaborating effectively with team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or other graphic design tools.
  • Familiarity with music industry trends and digital marketing strategies.
