Responsibilities:

Provide administrative direction and support for our Joint Commission Accredited Agency. Work closely with the skilled team to achieve organizational goals.

  • Works together with Director of Nursing to ensure that BrightStar Care delivers the highest possible level of patient care and adheres to regulations and best practices regarding infection control and patient privacy.
  • Joint Commission
  • Proficient at IV's
  • Assist with skilled nursing intake
  • Coordination of care
  • Scheduling skilled visits
  • Assist with clinical documentation and QA
  • Nursing note oversight
  • Nurse training
  • Field patient visits
  • After hours phone on call rotation
  • Coordinate with home care RN
  • Foster a collaborative and positive working environment
  • Create and run reports

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid California state license
  • Associate's degree in nursing, or higher
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated excellent IV start ability
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role in home care
  • Strong clinical and managerial skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and accreditation standards
  • Recent physical and neg TB
