Ad Operations Specialist: Senior

As a Publisher Ad Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in driving revenue for our company by managing and optimizing our on-site advertising inventory. You will be responsible for the entire ad lifecycle, from architecting, integration, setup and testing to trafficking, optimizing, reporting and analysis. This is a new organization starting up to build out a new monetization initiative for our client.

Responsibilities:

  • Align and deploy the chosen Ad server for client’s business
  • Manage and optimize ad inventory across key platforms
  • Traffic and track ad campaigns according to requirements from our campaign management team(s)
  • Ensure proper ad serving, troubleshoot discrepancies, and optimize campaigns
  • Manage staged rollouts and A/B tests of campaigns
  • Monitor campaign performance metrics (impressions, clicks, CTR, etc.) and generate reports
  • Identify and implement strategies to improve ad performance and maximize revenue
  • Work closely with campaign management team to understand campaign goals and ensure successful execution
  • Stay up to date on the latest ad tech trends and best practices

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in ad operations or a related field (digital advertising, marketing)
  • Proven experience working with ad server platforms (e.g., Google Ad Manager, etc.)
  • Mandatory experience onboarding publisher sell side ad server
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word)
