As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly skilled Production Planning Specialist to join our dynamic team.


Position Overview:

As a Production Planning Specialist, you will play a key role in coordinating and optimizing our production processes to meet demand while ensuring efficiency and quality standards are maintained. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in production planning, preferably within the food or beverage industry.


Key Responsibilities:


Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand while optimizing resource utilization and minimizing costs.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, supply chain, and sales to forecast demand and align production plans accordingly.

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure adequate supply of raw materials and packaging materials.

Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.

Coordinate with maintenance and quality assurance teams to schedule equipment maintenance and ensure product quality standards are met.

Implement and maintain production planning systems and tools to support efficient operations and decision-making.

Communicate production schedules and changes to relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment and facilitate smooth execution.

Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements that may impact production planning processes.


Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations management, business administration, or a related field.

3-5 years of experience in production planning, preferably in the food or beverage industry.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels of the organization.

Proficiency in production planning software and ERP systems, with experience implementing and optimizing planning tools preferred.

Knowledge of manufacturing processes and best practices, including lean manufacturing principles.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
