Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented M&A Analyst/Associate to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to support our M&A activities by preparing confidential information memorandums (CIMs), decks, presentations, and providing ad-hoc support to management as needed. The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills, analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including senior management, finance, and operations, to support the execution of M&A transactions.
  • Provide ad-hoc support to management on various strategic initiatives and special projects.
  • Prepare confidential information memorandums (CIMs), pitch books, presentations, and other materials for M&A transactions.
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis to gather relevant information for client presentations and reports.
  • Provide Buy-side support to identify and evaluate potential buyers 
  • Assist in financial modeling, valuation analysis, and due diligence activities.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or related field 
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in investment banking, corporate development, or M&A advisory. Preference for candidates that have completed internships or held entry level positions 
  • Proven or ancillary experience in preparing confidential information memorandums (CIMs), pitch books, and presentations for M&A transactions.
  • Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in work product.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion.


Preferred Experience

  • Experience working on buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions.
  • Knowledge of mergers and acquisitions processes, including due diligence, valuation, and deal structuring.
  • Familiarity with industry research tools and databases.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and other presentation software.
