Foreclosure Paralegal

Innovative Driven is currently seeking a Foreclosure Paralegal to join the team at a growing, busy law firm based in Southfield, Michigan

The foreclosure paralegal will work alongside the team's Senior Foreclosure Paralegal and the Managing Partner, contributing to a dynamic team that handles large volumes of work associated with each matter, case, or transaction.

The role is a fully onsite position in Southfield, Michigan, 40 hours a week.

Responsibilities:

• Mailing or electronic filing of pleadings including motions and writs.
• Review Court or Clerk websites to determine case status.
• Provide administrative support to the partner.
• Effectively communicate workflow and status changes to the foreclosure team.
• Prepare and facilitate correspondence including pleadings. motions, legal opinions, contacts, briefs, agreements.
• Schedule depositions, mediations, and other legal proceedings

Requirements:

• At least five years of foreclosure and litigation work experience
• Paralegal Certification is required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)
• CLS legal software is preferred.
• Strong Excel skills are required.
