The Operations Analyst’s overarching responsibility will be to help INSPIRE solve key business problems by analyzing the business and providing actionable insights. The ideal candidate is an emerging leader and creative/critical thinker who thrives on high-profile projects across several business lines. We are looking for a well-rounded team member who has the technical chops to give the resident Excel wizards a run for their money, the communication skills to create compelling presentations, and the soft skills and poise to present recommendations to a group of Executives. Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree in quantitative/analytical field (Economics, Econometrics, Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Sciences, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) preferred.
  • Master’s degree in quantitative discipline or in Business Administration is a bonus.
  • 2 – 5 years’ work experience, preferably in an analyst role.
  • Exposure to the Hospitality industry is a plus.

  • Familiarity with data mining/reporting/visualization tools such as SQL, PowerBI, Tableau, SAS Visual Analytics, etc., is a plus.

  • Experience
  • Mining and consolidating several types of data from different sources.
  • Analyzing data, forming actionable insights, and summarizing them for an Executive audience.
  • Crafting concise, visually appealing proposals to garner Executive support for your recommendations.
  • Creating, automating, and distributing reports and/or dashboards.
  • Familiarity with financial management, cost analysis, and budgeting practices.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and experience working with senior level executives.

Primary Duties

  • Work with the COO to identify, recommend, and develop action plans to optimize efficiency.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders enterprise-wide to understand business processes.
  • Summarize findings for Operations leaders to determine next steps.
  • Draft action plans and/or assist in creating requirements for potential software development.
  • Establish an analytical framework within Operations Departments and provide reporting on key metrics.
  • Understand success factors and build associated performance metrics for various functional areas.
  • Work with key stakeholders and tools to ensure data sufficiency to track performance.
  • Identify and implement tools to track metrics and share results.
  • Own the production and distribution of standard reporting packages.
  • Assist in the creation of COO presentations.
  • Ad-hoc projects that support the COO’s strategic plan and the company’s operations.

The role involves travel to various INSPIRE locations. Expected 10-15%

Other

  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
  • This position will provide comprehensive exposure to INSPIRE’s business and is intended to be a springboard to other opportunities at our company. It offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.
  • This position is 5 days a week onsite in Dallas, TX.
