Your Role at KIK

The VP of Process Engineering will build a high-performance engineering organization to drive value creation across the KIK Manufacturing Network. They will oversee 16 U.S. manufacturing sites across the Auto, Household and Pool divisions. The VP will develop and drive a project pipeline of value-added projects that reduce conversion costs, provide new and enhanced manufacturing capabilities, and improve quality across the network through ingenuity and capital investment. The VP will develop and deploy an enterprise-wide continuous improvement program to improve throughput, OEE/ reliability and reduce waste through manufacturing initiatives. They will oversee the execution of operational capital expense projects and the corresponding enterprise CAPEX budget.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead, grow, and develop both their direct KIK engineering team, outsourced engineering and the operations team to build a continuous improvement mindset with a focus on value creation.
  • Ensure all capital projects are delivered on/ahead of schedule and on/under budget. Be transparent for situations that arise around schedule/ budget expectations.
  • In partnership with Operations Leadership, articulate, role model, and hold the Operations organization accountable to a culture of value creation, continuous improvement, and service while driving integrity, collaboration, innovation, transparency, and high-performance.
  • Drive Value to identify opportunities to enhance processes in order to improve reliability, reduce labor cost, and improve quality.
  • Develop pipeline of value creation, value engineering, continuous improvement, and LEAN projects to support enterprise financial targets through the execution of operational goals that drive efficiency, cost management and growth opportunities.
  • Establish enterprise operational excellence discipline that drives efficiency, cost management, scalability and value creation.
  • Exhibit the L.E.A.D.S. (Learner, Entrepreneur, Articulate, Driver, Self-Motivated) characteristics with the Executive Leadership Team, Integrated Supply Chain, and Operations Leadership and other key stakeholders to drive collaboration and team success.


What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in chemical, mechanical, electrical, or related discipline from an accredited institution.
  • 10 years of people leadership experience with 15 years or more of engineering experience in a consumer-packaged goods or similar manufacturing environment, including managing an Engineering team to support and transform a business platform.
  • Proven track record of driving continuous improvements and operational reliability through sustainable processes.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio.
  • Project management and time management experience with a record of success.
  • Packaging process knowledge a definite plus.
  • Job requires 50% travel; Driver’s license and Passport are required.
