Are you ready to tackle some of the biggest challenges in AI and biology? At ZipBio, we are seeking versatile software engineers eager to work across multiple areas of our transformative platform. You will contribute to:

  • Optimizing compute infrastructure for AI science and model training.
  • Enhancing scientific code and engineering to accelerate research.
  • Introducing best practice in code development. 
  • Developing tooling for large-scale AI model inference.
  • Managing large biological datasets and improving data warehousing.
  • Developing tooling to improve productivity of design team. 


As a key member of our small, pragmatic team, you will:

  • Collaborate with a team of experts in computational protein design, AI, and life sciences.
  • Work autonomously, empowered to make significant contributions.
  • We work hybrid, at our office in Seattle.  (This position is not remote.)


Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of software engineering or related experience.
  • Proficiency in cloud infrastructure deployment.
  • Experience in developing machine learning systems, both in training and inference phases.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the biotech/life sciences field.
  • Experience in developing data warehousing solutions.
  • Experience in developing user interfaces for cloud-based systems, specializing in creating intuitive and interactive GUIs that enhance user engagement and system usability
