Social Media Specialist

As ESI’s Social Media Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our brand presence, driving engagement, and generating leads through strategic social media initiatives. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing social media strategies tailored to the construction industry, creating compelling content, managing social media platforms, analyzing performance metrics, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align social media efforts with our business objectives.
This role will be located at our Headquarters located in Meridian, ID.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies to achieve marketing objectives and enhance brand visibility.
- Create engaging and visually appealing content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Manage all social media accounts, including daily monitoring, content scheduling, and community management.
- Be flexible with your schedule, including early mornings and late nights, to cover on-site activities and, ensuring timely and relevant social media coverage of these events.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media initiatives with overall marketing campaigns and company goals.
- Monitor social media trends, industry news, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for content creation and audience engagement.
- Utilize social media advertising tools to create and optimize paid campaigns for lead generation and brand promotion.
- Analyze social media performance metrics and generate reports to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, algorithms, and platform updates to ensure maximum reach and engagement.
- Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster positive relationships with our online community.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
- 1-3 years experience working in social media management, preferably within the construction or related industry.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Vimeo, etc), algorithms, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling and engaging content.
- Proficiency in social media management tools, analytics platforms, and scheduling software.
- Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and visual content creation.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to inform decision-making and strategy development.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work that aligns with brand standards and objectives.
