Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The Accountant will be responsible for managing complex accounting tasks, including overseeing the financial statement close process, preparing and analyzing financial data, reviewing and improving financial workflows, creating financial forecasts, and assisting the Controller and CFO with various projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced and growing international organization.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries.
  • Resolve internal and external discrepancies by making reclassification or adjusting journal entries.
  • Manage monthly deposits and review and approve check runs.
  • Complete monthly bank account reconciliations.
  • Assist the Controller with inventory management and reporting.
  • Assist other members of the Accounting and Finance Team on an as needed basis.
  • Prepare monthly budget to actual reports with accompanying analysis.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for three operating companies and the parent company.
  • Partner with the CFO and Controller on annual budget and quarterly estimate preparation.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • AR/AP experience
  • 1-2years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior role
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Experience with ERP systems, Microsoft Dynamics AX preferred
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
