Robert Half is partnered with a dynamic client seeking a seasoned and visionary HR Director with extensive experience in supporting large companies. As HR Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of our HR function while implementing tactical initiatives to support our organization's growth and development, with a particular focus on organization design and structure, as well as handling employee relations. This role is very tactical and strategic and requires someone who is ready to roll up their sleeves as a well as drive strategy. 100% onsite.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the goals and objectives of our large organization, encompassing multiple departments and business units.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to identify HR priorities and initiatives that support business growth, talent management, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Lead a team of HR professionals responsible for delivering a full spectrum of HR services, including talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and organizational development.
  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance HR processes and systems, ensuring scalability and efficiency to support our company's size and complexity.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to drive workforce planning efforts, including succession planning, talent pipelines, and skills development programs.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain top talent in the industry.
  • Provide guidance and support to HR Business Partners and other HR staff across various locations, ensuring consistent application of HR policies and practices.
  • Drive organization design and structure initiatives to optimize efficiency, effectiveness, and agility within the organization, considering factors such as growth, market dynamics, and strategic objectives.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging HR technologies to inform strategic decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on HR-related matters, offering insights and recommendations to drive business outcomes and enhance employee engagement.
  • Lead change management initiatives and organizational restructuring efforts as needed to support business objectives and drive cultural transformation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role supporting large companies or multinational corporations.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing HR strategies in complex organizational environments.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and compliance requirements relevant to large companies.
  • Proven track record of building and leading high-performing HR teams and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate future HR needs and proactively develop solutions to address them.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to leverage HR data and metrics to drive business insights and decision-making.
  • Relevant HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.
