Job Summary


Job Summary:


The Records Management Coordinator is responsible for overseeing various records management-related activities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting firm employees with record storage and retrieval (off-site), and making certain that those records are properly inventoried, stored, archived, retrieved, preserved and handled appropriately for litigation support and disposed of in accordance within firm compliance, procedures and guidelines.

This position also assists in the planning, organization, monitoring and implementation of the records management procedures and controls. In addition, this includes but is not limited to the following:

• Assisting/coordinating with H&WS regarding the inventory, storage and maintenance of records at an off-site storage facility

• Assisting with US Special Projects

• Assisting with office moves, restacks, etc.

• Assisting with ARCR execution

• Active file room management


Key Responsibilities:


• Responsible for daily electronic data discovery evidence collection efforts.

• Responsible for executing project requirements and providing weekly/monthly status updates.

• Work with a variety of hardware (extraction machines, forensic laptops, write blockers, hard drives, etc.) and litigation software technologies to provide user support to the Forensics team by creating deliverables as they complete extractions, images, and collections.

• Work collaboratively with the Forensics team (PMO) on e-Discovery Collections, Project Reviews, Recycle Request and Data Searches.

• Communicate with Collection Manager to prepare and resolve inquiries through research and documentation.

• Make recommendations for improved workflow, quality, internal documentation and processes to maximize system resources and efficiencies as applicable. Independently work on job request from a queue as well as by assignment to ensure that jobs progress with minimal delay.

• Responsible for tracking all aspects of assigned projects and maintaining an accurate data collection for blank hard drives to allocate cost to the appropriate projects.

• Always maintain confidentiality.

• Partner with Data Recovery and Internal Acquisition/Transition processes/procedures related to Evidence Handling.
