Job Summary

Bank OZK is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Loan Documentation Specialist to join our team. As a Loan Documentation Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of loan documents, while maintaining excellent communication with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loan Documentation Coordination: Coordinate the loan documentation process, ensuring all regulatory, legal, and loan policy requirements are met.
  • Documentation Review: Review imaging system for documentation and documentation deficiencies for internal refinance and modification requests.
  • Loan Platform Utilization: Utilize the Bank's loan platform system to key information necessary to originate loan documents according to approval, collateral, and additional documentation.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate with other members of Loan Operations Documentation and the lending staff regarding status of loan requests, missing information needed from the lender/borrower, and clear-to-close information.
  • Error Management: Manage documentation errors to an acceptable level once notified and manage corrections in a timely manner.
  • Attendance and Punctuality: Maintain good punctuality and attendance to work.
  • Policy Adherence: Follow Bank policy, procedures, and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of work experience with financial documents and transactions required.
  • Technical Skills: Minimum of one (1) year of experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel software required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure (TRID), corporate authority documents, and centralized loan documentation department.
