To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Technical Expertise: A Bachelor's degree in engineering (chemical or mechanical preferred) and at least five years of experience in refining or specialty chemicals manufacturing.
- Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to analyze complex problems, make sound decisions, and implement effective solutions.
- Business Acumen: A strong understanding of financial metrics and the ability to drive profitability.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
