Job Title: Delivery Manager – AWS, DevOps, Data & Generative AI

Location: Chicago


Job Summary:

As the Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of complex technology projects with a focus on AWS, DevOps, Data Engineering, and Generative AI solutions. You will lead a cross-functional team and ensure that all client requirements are met while maintaining a high standard of service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, deep technical expertise, and experience in DevOps automation tools, with a preference for Harness, alongside a focus on generative AI capabilities.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Delivery Leadership:
  • Lead, manage, and oversee the delivery of multiple projects across AWS, DevOps, and AI domains.
  • Ensure all projects meet customer expectations in terms of scope, quality, time, and cost.
  • Collaborate with the sales and presales teams to define the solution delivery roadmap.
  1. DevOps & Cloud Management:
  • Oversee the implementation and optimization of CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Harness (preferred), Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Drive cloud adoption strategies across AWS, ensuring infrastructure scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Lead infrastructure automation, monitoring, and performance tuning for continuous integration and delivery.
  1. Data Engineering & Generative AI:
  • Provide oversight for data pipelines and data platform management, ensuring robust ETL processes.
  • Collaborate with data science teams to deliver scalable AI/ML models, particularly leveraging generative AI frameworks.
  • Ensure the integration of data solutions into cloud-native architectures on AWS.
  1. Client & Stakeholder Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor for their cloud and data strategy.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define business outcomes and delivery expectations, ensuring alignment with technical execution.
  1. Team Leadership & Mentorship:
  • Build, mentor, and manage high-performing teams of engineers, DevOps professionals, and data scientists.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement through coaching and the adoption of best practices.
  1. Innovation & Strategy:
  • Stay ahead of industry trends in DevOps, cloud, and AI technologies, especially in generative AI.
  • Develop strategies for process automation, infrastructure as code (IaC), and advanced analytics.


Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Cloud Expertise: Deep expertise in AWS cloud architecture, services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS), and cost management.
  • DevOps Mastery: Experience with CI/CD, version control, infrastructure automation, and DevOps toolchains (Harness preferred).
  • Generative AI Knowledge: Strong understanding of generative AI, NLP, GPT models, and their application in enterprise environments.
  • Data Engineering: Knowledge of data pipeline orchestration, ETL processes, and distributed data systems.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven track record in leading delivery teams, with strong project management and client-facing experience.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, DevOps certification (preferred), Generative AI certifications a plus.

  • DevOps: Harness, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible.
  • Cloud: AWS (Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, etc.).
  • Data: Apache Spark, Kafka, Redshift, Snowflake.
  • AI: GPT, PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenAI models.
