Overview:

The Treasury Manager will be responsible for managing the organization's treasury

functions, including cash management, liquidity planning, investment strategies, and risk

management. This role ensures that the company has sufficient liquidity to meet its

obligations, optimizes the return on investments, and effectively manages financial risks.

The Treasury Manager will work closely with the CFO, finance team, and other

departments to support the company's financial goals.


Responsabilités:

  • Cash Management: Monitor daily cash positions and ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs. Manage short-term and long-term cash flow forecasting and planning. Optimize cash management systems and procedures to improve efficiency. Oversee the company's bank accounts and manage banking relationships.
  • Banking Relationships: Maintain and develop strong relationships with banks and financial institutions. Assist in negotiating terms and conditions for bank services, loans, and lines of credit. Ensure efficient bank account structures and manage bank accounts, including opening, closing, and reconciling accounts.
  • Investment Management: Develop and implement investment strategies to maximize returns on excess cash. Monitor and manage the company's investment portfolio. Ensure compliance with the company's investment policies and risk tolerance.
  • Debt Management: Manage the company's debt portfolio, including loan agreements and bond issuances. Negotiate and maintain credit facilities to support the company’s liquidity needs. Monitor interest rate risks and recommend hedging strategies as needed.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks related to cash flow, investments, and foreign exchange. Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures. Monitor and report on financial risk exposures and take appropriate actions to mitigate risks.
  • Financial Planning: Forecasting and Analysis: Collaborate with the finance team to prepare and analyze financial reports related to treasury activities. Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by providing insights on cash flow, investments, and financing. Provide recommendations for optimizing capital structure and improving financial performance.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulations related to treasury activities. Prepare and present reports on cash flow, investments, debt, and risk management to senior management. Liaise with auditors and regulatory authorities as needed.
  • Team Management: Lead, develop and coach support staff.


Qualifications:

  • 7 plus years of experience in treasury management, corporate finance, or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of cash management, investment strategies, and financial risk management.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Experience with treasury management systems and financial software.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
