As a CAD Drafter, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for various large-scale concrete construction projects, contributing directly to the success of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings for concrete construction projects, including structural and architectural components.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to ensure project designs meet specifications and client requirements.
  • Interpret architectural and engineering blueprints, converting them into detailed shop drawings for concrete construction.
  • Manage revisions, updates, and modifications to drawings throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure all designs comply with applicable codes, industry standards, and client expectations.
  • Participate in project review meetings to provide input on designs and make necessary adjustments based on team feedback.
  • Coordinate documentation for multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in CAD drafting, preferably within the concrete or construction industry.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar CAD software.
  • Strong understanding of structural and architectural concrete systems.
  • Ability to interpret and apply specifications, codes, and design requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in drafting, engineering technology, or related field.
  • Experience in commercial, industrial, or large-scale residential concrete construction.
  • Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes and tools.
  • Familiarity with Phoenix building codes and industry standards.
