Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Director to lead our manufacturing processes and drive operational excellence. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production, ensuring that operations are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with our quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a commitment to continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership:
  • Develop and implement manufacturing strategies to optimize production processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Lead overall operations including manufacturing & supply chain, quality, regulatory affairs
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Team Management:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of manufacturing professionals.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements, cost reduction, and productivity gains.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles and methodologies to drive efficiency.
  • Budget and Resource Management:
  • Prepare and manage the manufacturing budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
  • Allocate resources effectively to meet production demands and optimize output.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control measures.
  • Implement quality improvement initiatives to minimize defects and enhance product reliability.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, engineering, and sales, to align manufacturing goals with business objectives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all manufacturing-related inquiries.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
  • Analyze production metrics and prepare reports for senior management on operational performance.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to inform decision-making and strategic planning.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or scientific disciplines or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • 10 - 15 years of experience in BMP pharma or nutraceuticals manufacturing operations regulated by FDA.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations, including FDA, EMEA.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale manufacturing operations and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, process improvement methodologies, and quality control systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
