Responsibilities
- The Manufacturing Managers for Assembly and Test are responsible for the operational and fiscal activities of the department
- The managers will oversees the productions of the assembly/test departments
- The manager must plan and develop systems and procedures to improve the operating quality and efficiency of the department
- Manage the operational and fiscal activities of the department to include staffing level, forecast achievement/reliability, and budget requirements
- Plan and develop systems and procedures to improve the operating quality and efficiency of the department
- Analyze and document business processes and problems
- Develop solutions to enhance efficiencies
- Drive productivity and operational cost reduction throughout the department
- Supervise employees in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Conduct interviews, help in hiring, and provide employee orientation
- Establish employee goals and conduct employee performance reviews
- Drive daily accountability
- Responsible for scheduling work assignments, employee training, employee vacations and overtime assignment
- Assist Human Resources with employee issues
- Schedule and conduct department meetings
- Communicate with all Supervisors and Directors
