Job Description

We're on the hunt for an ONSITE Video Production Specialist with a passion for every facet of production, from conceptual pre-production to finishing touches in post. Our ideal candidate possesses a keen eye for detail, an innate talent for storytelling, and the unique ability to transform intricate ideas into compelling visual narratives.

More than just showcasing your current skills, we want someone with ambition – eager to grow, ready to take on challenges, and aspirations to become a pivotal force within our video team.

Responsibilities

  1. Engage in pre-production activities including script development, storyboarding, and equipment preparation.
  2. Collaborate with marketing, creative, and video teams to conceptualize, film, and edit video content in alignment with client objectives.
  3. Ensure high-quality filming sessions, emphasizing sound, lighting, and technical precision.
  4. Edit and refine video content to meet the brand, messaging, and objectives of each client and strategy.
  5. Offer suggestions for content enhancements based on performance analytics and feedback.
  6. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices, introducing fresh insights and innovations to the video team.
  7. Assist in the maintenance and updating of equipment and software, ensuring seamless production workflows.
  8. Effectively communicate with both team members and clients, fostering clear understanding and managing expectations.
  9. Actively engage in leadership training and developmental programs provided by the company, showcasing an eagerness to learn.
  10. Demonstrate a willingness to embrace additional responsibilities and challenges that stimulate professional growth.

Qualifications

  1. Educational Background – Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  2. Experience - Minimum of 2-3 years of professional video production experience; experience working within a marketing or agency setting is a plus but not a requirement; demonstrable experience in pre-production, production, and post-production processes.
  3. Technical Proficiency - Skilled in industry-standard video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects; familiarity with modern video equipment, including cameras, microphones, and lighting.
  4. Storytelling Prowess – Ability to weave intricate ideas into engaging and coherent visual narratives. A portfolio showcasing previous works would be advantageous.
  5. Up-to-Date Knowledge – Awareness of the latest trends and best practices in video production and the marketing field.
  6. Soft Skills - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work well in collaborative environments and interact effectively with both team members and clients; embodying Splash Omnimedia's core values, including being a team player, staying humble, and always doing the right thing.
  7. Growth Mindset – Demonstrable willingness to engage in ongoing professional development opportunities and a hunger for career growth within the company.
  8. Analytical Thinking – Ability to interpret performance analytics to suggest content enhancements and strategy improvements.
  9. Flexibility and Adaptability – Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with the capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities.
  10. Client-focused – Demonstrated history of working effectively with diverse clientele, ensuring that their vision and objectives are seamlessly translated into the video content.
