Role and Responsibilities:

Assembly Work:

  • Build and assemble electro-mechanical sub-assemblies and systems according to specifications.
  • Perform system-level assembly and sub-assembly tests, including reconditioned hardware.

Testing:

  • Conduct in-process sub-assembly testing as required.
  • Perform basic mechanical and electrical inspections using tools like calipers, indicators, and multimeters.

Documentation:

  • Complete Device History Records for traceability and compliance.

Packaging:

  • Carry out packaging tasks as needed in the Instruments Manufacturing area.

Compliance:

  • Adhere to client policies on Quality System Regulation (QSR), ISO standards, Environmental Health (EH), and safety regulations.
  • Participate in internal audits to ensure process compliance.

Additional Duties:

  • Take on any other duties assigned as needed.
  • Provide training when required.
  • Contribute to workplace safety by identifying and mitigating risks.


Requirements:

Skills:

  • Proficient in using basic hand tools like screwdrivers, wrenches, torque tools, crimpers, and soldering irons.
  • Ability to follow written instructions, including assembly and test procedures, and mechanical drawings.

Experience:

  • Experience with basic mechanical and electrical inspection tools and equipment.

Compliance and Auditing:

  • Knowledge of QSR, ISO, EH, and safety protocols.
  • Experience supporting day-to-day manufacturing operations and regulatory compliance.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, along with relevant experience and/or training.
