Senior Data Analyst
Hendrick Automotive Group, located in Charlotte, NC, is looking for a Senior Data Analyst with a proven track record to join our team.
Summary:
The Senior Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing and reporting data related to dealership operations. Produce complex, recurring and ad-hoc reports with the purpose of measuring progress towards goals, measuring performance against objectives and identifying improvement opportunities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Create new custom reports and modify existing reports as needed using Tableau reporting tool
- Gather, analyze and interpret data to generate insightful reports and actionable recommendations
- Interpret data sets to identify trends, patterns and correlations that drive strategic business decisions
- Identify opportunities to enhance reporting processes and streamline data visualization techniques
- Ensure accuracy, reliability and integrity of data through rigorous quality checks and validation procedures
- Provide support to dealership management regarding financial reporting & analysis
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience working with data and business intelligence
- 4-year college degree (Major: Finance, Accounting, or Computer Science preferred)
- Advanced experience with Tableau reporting and Amazon RDS is preferred
- Knowledge of SQL and ETL process is strongly recommended
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Excellent Communication skills (including communicating financial information to non-financial individuals)
- Critical thinking & problem-solving abilities
- Ability to complete spontaneous requests and scheduled projects in a timely and accurate manner.
- Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
- Submit to and successfully complete background check and pre-employment drug test
