Are you passionate about supporting student success and making a difference in education? Our public charter school is seeking a dedicated Associate Teacher to join our team. This position plays a key role in supporting classroom instruction, assisting students in both in-person and virtual learning environments, and collaborating with teachers to ensure every student has the tools they need to thrive.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport student learning and classroom management in partnership with the Distance Learning Teacher.Assist students in virtual and blended learning environments.Collaborate weekly with Distance Learning Teachers to ensure seamless instruction delivery.Take daily attendance in compliance with TEA student attendance accounting procedures.Provide accommodations and individualized support to students as needed.Assist students with instructional technology and troubleshoot common issues.Train students in the use of educational platforms and tools.Complete required documentation and maintain confidentiality in all student matters.Communicate with parents/guardians as needed.Perform additional duties assigned by supervisors to support campus operations.QualificationsMust meet the federal Highly Qualified (HQ) requirement through one of the following, or be able to obtain HQ status within the first year:Associate’s degree,At least 48 semester hours of college coursework, orPassing score on a locally approved assessment.Must be highly qualified as an Instructional Assistant per Texas Education Agency (TEA) guidelines.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to build positive, respectful relationships with students, staff, administrators, and families.Demonstrated aptitude for instructional support and classroom responsibilities.Comfortable using instructional technologies to enhance student learning.Flexible, professional, and able to maintain confidentiality.A positive outlook and sense of humor are a mustWhy Join Us?
