Data Specialist

We are partnering with a client to find a Data Specialist to join their team. This position will contribute to the success of the business and have high visibility from the management team. The person filling the role will get to work with various aspects of the business including manufacturing, sales, quality, HR, and Engineering.


Position

  • Full Time Direct Hire


Background Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Engineering or related field required.
  • Manufacturing experience is greatly preferred.
  • Experience with data/analytics architecture, standards, framework, and practices.
  • Skilled in digital tools such as MS SQL, Python, Spark, Azure Synapse, Fabric, and PowerBI
  • Minimum of 5 years related experience as a Data Specialist.


Job Responsibilities/Skills

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and develop reports, dashboards, etc., to help them resolve issues, build business, or develop new processes.
  • Work with data sources and processes in a manufacturing environment (SAP BW, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Understand requirements and be able to recognize data issues.
  • Be a key member of the team working on multiple projects at a time.
