Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Energy / Utility Lateral Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will provide legal support on a variety of energy and utility matters, including litigation and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice on a range of energy and utility issues
  • Represent clients in litigation and regulatory proceedings
  • Draft and negotiate contracts related to energy and utility matters
  • Conduct legal research to ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  • Advise clients on best practices and risk management strategies

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the state bar as an attorney in good standing
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in energy and utility law
  • Experience in litigation and regulatory proceedings
  • In-depth knowledge of energy and utility regulations and laws
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Nice to have skills: experience in energy law, familiarity with utility and renewable energy sectors
