As a Generator Technician, you will collaborate closely with a team of skilled professionals and follow strict safety protocols to ensure the efficient functioning of generators. Responsibilities:

  • Perform installation, repair, and maintenance tasks on various types of generators in the machinery industry
  • Identify and diagnose electrical generator issues and conduct complex repairs with precision
  • Thoroughly inspect, test, troubleshoot, and ensure proper functioning of generators
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to complete repairs in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all work performed, including detailed specifications of generators
  • Refer to generator maintenance and repair manuals as needed to carry out tasks professionally
  • Adhere to strict company safety policies and procedures throughout all operations

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in generator maintenance
  • Proven expertise in working with electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
  • Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints
  • In-depth knowledge of generator components and systems
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Willingness to handle work in various weather conditions and be available for emergency service calls
