Power Generator Technician

1 Resource Group is currently hiring for Power Generator Technician for our client in the machinery industry. This is a direct hire position with great benefits offered.
As a Power Generator Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing power generators. You will work closely with a team of professionals to ensure that generators are functioning properly and to troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise.

Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and repair power generators
- Conduct regular inspections to identify any potential issues or necessary maintenance
- Troubleshoot and repair technical issues with power generators
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and general cleaning
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
- Coordinate with clients to schedule maintenance and repair tasks
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in power generator technology
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations at all times
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience as a Power Generator Technician
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and mechanical maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions
