Manhattan-based Property Management firm is seeking an experienced Property Manager overseeing approximately 600 to 800 residential units in multiple properties in Manhattan, Bronx, and Westchester.

The property manager will also manage, monitor, and assist in resolving all residential property violations and notices from all city agencies.

Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

- Manage all maintenance aspects of the assigned portfolio of units.

Conduct inspections of vacant apartments

Oversee capital improvement projects

- Interact with building management, superintendents, and staff members of an assigned portfolio of buildings.

- Address tenant concerns and maintenance requests promptly, including scheduling outside vendors for repairs, coordinating with building management, etc.

- Ensure properties are well-maintained and comply with state/city regulations and the building's rules.

- Review/approve all invoices and purchase orders. Monitor financial reports and explain variances in budget. Participate in the budget process.

- Manage, monitor, research, and assist in the resolution, correction, and/or removal of all residential and commercial property violations and notices from all city agencies for all buildings/units owned and managed by the company. Review agreements and documents for dismissal with outside consultants. Review/expedite payment of fines.


REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor's Degree is a must

- The qualified candidate will have at least 6 years of experience as a property manager of NYC rentals.

- Candidate must know NYC rent stabilization laws and leases and market rate

- Experience with managing building violations for city agencies including FDNY, HPD, Dept of Sanitation, Dept of Health, etc.

- Proficiency in Yardi or similar property management software.

- Strong conflict management skills.

- Understanding of legal administrative tasks related to property management.

- Strong organization and communication skills.
