THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU


  • Develop and manage the Construction Execution Plan (CEP) in alignment with the Project Execution Plan (PEP).
  • Coordinate activities among contractors, plant operations, and plant safety.
  • Arrange necessary construction support services and facilities.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting on quality, safety, productivity, and schedule.
  • Consolidate reports into comprehensive construction management summaries.
  • Establish key contacts within contractor organizations for enhanced job status understanding.
  • Review engineer drawings and provide feedback to project stakeholders.
  • Participate in model reviews and facilitate constructability reviews.
  • Lead construction kick-off meetings and regular progress meetings.
  • Address and resolve contractor performance issues.
  • Coordinate data center resources and facilitate change management processes.
  • Ensure compliance with quality control measures and procedures.
  • Monitor and oversee contractor equipment management plans.
  • Facilitate interaction between contractors and QA/QC teams.
  • Verify contractor adherence to approved procedures and contractual terms.
  • Monitor project costs, productivity, and schedule adherence.
  • Promote a culture of safety and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Communicate safety incidents and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Participate in contractor safety meetings and audits.
  • Maintain relationships with cross-functional teams and uphold safety standards.


KEY SUCCESS FACTORS

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in construction, operations, maintenance, or project planning.
  • Familiarity with retrofit projects in live data centers or similar environments.
  • Understanding of building systems including mechanical, electrical, and fire protection.
  • Proficiency in CPM scheduling practices and Primavera P6 software.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in data center design and construction.
  • Project Manager Professional certification.
  • Knowledge of ground-up construction and greenfield site development.
  • Familiarity with local US industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
