The role is to cover for a team member on maternity leave and to handle new projects.

Focus on updating onboarding content and developing new frameworks for engineers.

The content developed will support the onboarding and upskilling of engineers.

The role requires updating existing content and creating new training materials for new technologies and frameworks.

Experience with Articulate Rise 360, Beyond, and Descript.

Ability to create on-demand content, including SCORM packages, videos, and interactive elements.

Ability to work independently and manage projects with minimal supervision.

Strong communication skills to collaborate with engineers and subject matter experts.

Work closely with engineers and subject matter experts, primarily in Mountain View, but also with team members in Texas, New York, Seattle, and Bengaluru.

Experience working with technical content and engineers is highly preferred.

Previous roles in instructional design, technical writing, or similar fields.

Similar Job Titles: Instructional Designer, Technical Trainer, Content Developer.

Discuss training projects and content created and developed, tools, methodologies to develop, impact or success metrics on material

Samples are a desired but not required; These samples should showcase the candidate's ability to create comprehensive and effective training materials, even if the actual content is proprietary and cannot be shared.


The desired work samples should include:

Engaging Content: Examples of interactive and engaging training materials, such as SCORM packages, videos with assessments, and tasks within the course.

Supporting Documents: Needs analysis, design documents, storyboards, and outlines that demonstrate the complete development process from concept to implementation.

Methodologies: Demonstration of methodologies used in developing the content, such as the ADDIE process or other instructional design frameworks.

Tools Proficiency: Evidence of proficiency with tools like Articulate Rise 360, Beyond, and Descript.
