Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Coordination:

- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met.
- Manage and oversee all phases of the construction process, from pre-construction to project closeout.
- Schedule and conduct regular project meetings to monitor progress and address any issues.
- Budget and Cost Management:
- Establish and manage project budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met.
- Monitor project costs and implement cost-saving measures as necessary.
- Review and approve project-related expenses, invoices, and change orders.
- Prepare and present regular financial reports to senior management and clients.
- Client and Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships throughout the project.
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on project status and address any concerns.
- Ensure that project deliverables align with client expectations and contractual obligations.
- Work collaboratively with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely and quality completion of work.
- Quality Control and Compliance:
- Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure work meets industry standards and project specifications.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality and adherence to safety protocols.
- Address and resolve any issues related to construction quality or safety.
- Risk Management and Problem Solving:
- Identify potential risks to project success and develop mitigation strategies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the construction process.
- Ensure that all project-related challenges are addressed promptly and effectively.
- Adapt project plans as necessary to accommodate changes in scope, schedule, or budget.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and manage project teams, including project engineers, site supervisors, and subcontractors.
- Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members to foster a collaborative work environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to improve team performance.
- Ensure that project teams are adequately staffed and equipped to meet project goals.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of commercial construction processes, codes, and regulations.
- Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam).
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction.
- Certifications: PMP, LEED, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
