JOB SUMMARY
The Data Validation Analyst is responsible for validating processes, outcomes and BI reports developed by the Data and Analytics team. This individual will also be responsible for overseeing, preparing, processing and analyzing data to make the data valuable and useful for operational and/or decision-making purposes. The Data Validation Analyst plays such an important role to the Data Services team and the company in general as data integrity is an integral concept to the success of Outcomes.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage field validation for raw data:
- Identify data or systems not adhering to the normal data standards
- Track issues for the purpose of identifying the severity level
- Create daily and weekly reports used to document data validation for use by other teams
- Provide quality guidance and assessment to ensure maintenance of validated systems are managed in accordance with current corporate and regulatory requirements.
- Discover and diagnose modeling related risks including input data, assumption, concept, methodology, process and implementation.
- Validate data in new and existing BI Reports before dashboards are pushed to production
- Extract and manipulate data to perform trend calculations, identify benchmarking opportunities and business needs, and measure process or organizational performance.
- Review code (SQL, PL/SQL, Powershell) written by the Data and Analytics team to ensure stability, efficiency and accuracy

- Travel Requirements: Domestic and/or International, up to 10%
Education & Experience Requirements
- Minimum years of work experience: 1 year
- At least one year experience in SQL, knowledge of relational database concepts and file structures
- One or more years of healthcare experience is preferred.
- Minimum level of education or education/experience: Bachelors or equivalent work experience
