Summary:

As a Project Development Manager or Project Development Engineer, you will be integral to company’s client management team, responsible for scouting and pursuing potential projects with key clients in the Geotechnical sector, from initial lead generation through to successful conversion.


Responsibilities

  • Leverage our cutting-edge expertise, proprietary tools, and global partnerships to address and resolve virtually any slope stability or foundation issue in diverse geological settings.
  • Implement top-tier sales processes and tools to craft and execute account plans aimed at meeting sales goals and growth targets.
  • Discover new business prospects with existing clients and broaden the client base.
  • Forge and nurture robust relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within client organizations.
  • Conduct regular meetings and negotiations to grasp client needs, address issues, and present appropriate solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and customer support, to ensure effective delivery of company solutions and services.
  • Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to pinpoint potential risks or opportunities.
  • Provide precise sales forecasts and reports to management, highlighting performance and growth for key accounts.
  • Develop and implement account-specific sales strategies, including pricing, promotions, and contract negotiations.
  • Resolve any issues or disputes between the company and key accounts promptly, ensuring satisfaction and maintaining positive relationships.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and client needs to proactively uncover upselling or cross-selling opportunities.

  • Ability to perform field visits, navigate steep slopes, and traverse geohazards during site evaluations.
  • Travel & Work Location: Significant travel required as necessary. Must be based in Indiana and within a one-hour commute of a major airport.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
  • Over 12 years of experience in a B2B consultative sales environment.
  • Industry-specific experience is highly desirable, focusing on the alignment of relevant experience, job requirements, and the execution of responsibilities.
  • Exceptional dedication to both internal and external customers, keenly understanding their needs and proactively seeking innovative ways to surpass their expectations.
  • Genuine, principled, and modest, with the capacity to cultivate trust and followership across all organizational tiers.
