Overview:

Our client, a prominent leader in the banking sector, is seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Corporate Technology Project Manager with specialized expertise in the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML). This critical role involves leading projects that support the Complaints and Disputes and Reg O/W initiatives, ensuring strict compliance with regulatory requirements while enhancing the bank's technological capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee and manage the entire lifecycle of BSA/AML projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.

* Develop project goals and comprehensive plans to meet business needs and regulatory standards.

* Coordinate and lead project team members, assigning responsibilities and setting deadlines.

* Implement and manage project strategies that ensure timely delivery within the specified budget.

* Utilize advanced project management tools (MS Project, Jira, M&A Accelerator, Clarity, Planview) to monitor progress and adherence to the schedule.

* Facilitate regular meetings, track meeting minutes, and provide weekly updates to program management.

* Conduct thorough risk assessments and maintain a detailed RAID log for each project.

* Organize necessary working sessions to drive project progress and meet critical milestones.

* Manage project resources in collaboration with program management and delivery leadership.

* Ensure effective communication with all stakeholders, including executive sponsors, to keep them informed about project status and strategic decisions.

* Proactively identify and resolve potential project blockers and risks.

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in IT, business, or a related field.

* At least 8 years of experience in the financial industry, with a minimum of 6 years in IT project management.

* At least 5 years of experience managing projects related to BSA, AML, and KYC compliance.

* Proven expertise in managing complex IT projects within the banking sector.
