About the Role: Our client, a large government agency, is seeking a Research Analyst to support the creation and implementation of a strategic plan aimed at improving its Minority & Woman-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBE) compliance monitoring program. This initiative focuses on research, developing a robust compliance and enforcement strategy, integrating this approach into existing procurement systems, and establishing mechanisms for tracking and reporting MWBE participation. The effort also includes crafting training materials and support structures for continuous compliance monitoring, offering customizable solutions to meet evolving standards, and employing tools for effective compliance and goal tracking. This MWBE program initiative is aligned with the agency's commitment to enhancing MWBE participation and supporting goals for equitable and inclusive procurement for MWBEs.
In this role, you would join our team at R.F. Wilkins and enjoy all the support and resources made available to our staff while being fully dedicated to the client's MWBE program. This is the ideal opportunity for a motivated research professional who is seeking to learn and grow, take on a complex and challenge, and work within a large government agency while benefiting from the teamwork, camaraderie, and support that we provide as a small consultancy of like-minded professionals dedicated to the development and growth of each of our team members. The Research Analyst reports directly to the Senior Manager, Compliance and works closely day-to-day with agency project sponsors.
Pay Range: $35-$40 per hour
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct market research in the field of public MWBE procurement and related MWBE initiatives
- Comprehensive reporting on findings and applicability to agency MWBE programs
- Liaise with personnel from Office of Supplier Diversity and other offices as needed
- Provide training sessions focused on market research methodology and results

- At least 2 years of experience in MWBE research
- Proven experience in research and reporting on findings
- Proficiency in training staff on best practices and methodologies for effective research
- Comprehensive understanding of MWBE laws and regulations
