Job Description


The Sales Operations team at NIKSUN is responsible for the implementation of pricing for all NIKSUN products, including software and services. The team is responsible for managing highly confidential data and working closely with cross-functional partners such as Operations, Product Marketing, Finance, Engineering, and Manufacturing to support strategic product related events and initiatives involving pricing. We are looking for a self-starting team player to join our Princeton, NJ based organization. The Pricing Analyst role is highly operational, system driven, and adept in project management and problem solving.


Key Responsibilities


Work with senior management to develop pricing policies/models and structured discounts.

Manage products and pricing in NIKSUN platforms such as CRM, coordinate with sales and product management to get technical specifications, and map them into a BOM (Bill of Materials)

Generate quotes as needed for customer requests

Automate manual tasks using tools like PHP

Respond to RFX documents

Manage Accounts assignments based on region and industry verticals.

Ensure that adequate support is provided for business solutions/proposals.

Assist in the development of quotation and deal evaluation methods to ensure consistent use throughout the business unit.

Utilize cost modeling methodologies, tools and techniques and software to determine pricing costs.

Create various discount and pricing reports

Utilize quality tools to make recommendations on improving pricing, billing, and costs.

Analyze RFPs to identify pricing and contractual requirements.

Coordinate with vendors and merchandising associates to determine pricing costs and related information to ensure that all material is obtained in a cost-effective manner.


Required Qualifications


3 years minimum of working experience in an analytical role, with proficiency in Spreadsheet modeling.

Experience with pricing and/or business strategy.

Excellent skills in Excel

Must be able to automate existing manual processes using programming skills.

Effective problem-solving, statistical, and business judgment skills, with the ability to translate quantitative analysis into business recommendations.

Excellent project management, presentation, and communication skills.

Exceptional attention to detail

Self-starter and team player

Effective verbal and written communication skills, including presenting complex concepts in straight-forward ways.

Strong proficiency in Word and PowerPoint required.


Desired Qualifications


Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Peachtree/accounting systems, Excel macros, Web/PHP

Ability to work effectively under deadlines and high-profile deliverables with minimal supervision.

Track record of identifying opportunities for improvement, recommending solutions, and implementing them.

Enjoy working with large volumes of data.


Educational Requirements


Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or equivalent.


Travel Requirements


Occasional overnight travel, less than 5%
