What we are looking for:

We are seeking a Mailroom Clerk / Document Specialist based in the Tampa Bay area. This is a full-time position with a Monday - Friday schedule. During your Orientation Period, the schedule will be 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM, then a more flexible schedule will be available after you reach your Benefit Eligibility Date. Further details regarding schedule flexibility and other benefits will be discussed during the interview. Reliable transportation to our St. Petersburg office is required.


Job Description:

The Mailroom Clerk / Document Specialist will be responsible for various tasks related to document processing and mail handling to ensure efficient office operations.


Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Opening and sorting daily mail
  • Identifying and scanning documents into claims
  • Sorting voicemails, missed calls, and emails for multiple departments
  • Printing various documents
  • Preparing outgoing mail
  • Filing applications and appeals online
  • Adding medical records to claims and routing invoices to the appropriate department for payment
  • Stocking and managing inventory of daily supplies


The pay range for this position is $15.00 to $16.00 per hour.


Requirements:

  • Intermediate to advanced-level computer literacy.
  • Ability to type a minimum of 50 words per minute (typingtest.com can be used for self-assessment).

Additional Information:

  • The start date for this position is November 20th, 2024. This date is non-negotiable as training begins on that date.
  • Successful candidates will be required to complete a background check and drug test prior to the start date. If you are unlikely to pass these checks, we advise against applying.
  • Interviews will be conducted in person at our office, typically with 2-3 members of our senior management team, each lasting approximately 30 minutes. All new hires must complete at least two rounds of interviews and an aptitude test before receiving an offer.
