Habitat for Humanity of Greater Garland is seeking a Development Director to help this 30 year old affiliate as it embarks on an audacious strategic growth initiative. The ideal candidate will be an outgoing relationship-builder experienced with and responsible for all grants and fundraising related to the organization. You will identify prospects and build a pipeline of potential partnerships that will help accelerate the company's financial growth. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a plan for growth through cultivation of grants & donations.
  • Take ownership of fundraising events
  • Act as a public representative for the organization
  • Work cross-functionally with other teams


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
