Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Process Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive engineering design, project delivery, and new project development services to industrial and commercial clients. This role requires expertise in process engineering, project management, environmental compliance, and occupational health and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement process engineering solutions for renewable natural gas and other sustainable energy projects.
- Design, optimize, and troubleshoot process systems to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Manage capital projects from conception through completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints.
- Conduct process simulations, perform engineering calculations, and generate technical documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, and civil engineers, to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards.
- Provide technical support and training to operations and maintenance personnel.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in the renewable energy or natural gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of process simulation software and engineering design tools.
- Proven experience in project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
