Responsibilities:
- Manage the order process to ensure timely and accurate order entry.
- Set up new customer accounts and organize relevant data on the server.
- Handle customer calls and order placements efficiently.
- Generate quotes upon request.
- Address customer complaints, document and resolve issues, and communicate the outcomes to the relevant personnel. Follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate customer records in Dynamics GP and CRM systems.
- Organize active and closed records on the server in the appropriate locations.
- Assist the Sales team with follow-ups, lead management, literature requests, sample requests, and customer calls.
- Promote and sell consumables to targeted market segments, both to new and existing customers.
- Manage and nurture relationships with current clients to sustain and grow business.
- Identify and engage with key decision-makers within customer organizations.
- Qualify prospective clients and leads to assess business opportunities.
- Understand customer needs to recommend suitable products effectively.
- Actively seek new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
- Schedule and coordinate product demonstrations and meetings with appropriate stakeholders.
- Maintain up-to-date customer follow-up records in the CRM as per company guidelines.
- Monitor and report on competitive activities, products, and pricing to management.
- Prepare annual sales forecasts for specific market segments.
- Adhere to company policies and directives to maximize profitable sales and achieve company objectives.
- Collaborate with Sales Management to set and achieve goals and objectives, tracked by key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Participate in sales meetings, training programs, conventions, and trade shows as directed.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years' experience in inside sales within manufacturing and/or distribution.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft GP, Excel, and Outlook.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
