Payroll Manager

We are seeking a proficient Payroll Manager to join our team. The incumbent will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll processing for our company. This involves monitoring all the payroll transactions and reportings, resolving any payroll discrepancies, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, and collaborating with Human Resources and Accounting teams.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the preparation, distribution, and reporting processes for payroll.
  2. Oversee payroll team.
  3. Oversee and ensure all payroll changes are processed correctly.
  4. Resolve issues and answer payroll-related questions.
  5. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
  6. Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
  7. Process all Payroll Taxes.
  8. Maintain and document all payroll records.
  9. Conduct regular payroll reporting as required.
  10. Develop systems to process payroll account transactions (e.g., salaries, benefits, garnishments, deductions, taxes and third party payments.


Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred, not required
  2. Advanced Excel required
  3. Canadian Payroll highly preferred
  4. ADP System experience highly preferred
  5. 3+ years of Payroll Management/Supervisory experience required
