Master Electrician

Our client is looking for a Master Electrician to join their team in Odessa, TX. This opportunity is a Direct Hire role that comes with several perks including full benefits, paid holidays, and paid time off.
Successful candidates must pass a background check, MVR check and drug screening as a requirement for this position.
Responsibilities of the Master Electrician Technician:
- Troubleshoot and diagnose rod lift pump off controllers and variable speed drives
- Perform on-site installation of rod lift pump off controllers and variable speed drives, conduit, etc.
- Use various electronic equipment and tools including auto cranes, stud guns, etc.
- Recognize and assess a variety of well optimization issues, either on own or by calling other technical specialists
- Must be willing to work with other business entities
- Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays when required
- Must be willing to work in a hands-on environment and able to lift 75 lbs/working in extreme weather for extended periods
- Must possess a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record to the extent that you are applying for a position that requires you to operate a client-owned or leased vehicle for company business
Requirements of the Automation Technician:
- High School Diploma/GED or as deemed sufficient by management
- At least 3 years of electrical experience, or as deemed sufficient by management
- Technical Requirements: Troubleshooting skills
- Basic computer skills such as experience with MS Office Suite
- Ability to work independently
- Oilfield experience
- Experience working with variable speed drives
- Automation and instrument experience
- Meet and maintain customer service standards and quality; always follow HSE procedures
- Able to manage inventory.
