Are you passionate about leading clinical data strategies and driving excellence in data management? We're seeking a dynamic Senior Director of Clinical Data Management to join our team in South San Francisco


🔍 About the Role: As the Senior Director of Clinical Data Management, you will be a pivotal leader, responsible for overseeing all aspects of clinical data management activities. Your role will involve strategic planning, team leadership, and ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulatory standards. This is a hybrid role, offering flexibility to work both onsite in our South San Francisco office and remotely.


👩‍💼 Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement clinical data management strategies aligned with project goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and mentor a team of talented data managers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the collection, cleaning, and analysis of clinical trial data to support decision-making throughout the drug development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical operations, biostatistics, and other departments to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in clinical data management, implementing innovative approaches to optimize processes.


✨ Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in life sciences or related field.
  • Extensive experience (8+ years) in clinical data management within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
  • Proven leadership experience, with a track record of successfully managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, EMA) and industry standards (e.g., CDISC).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prior experience with electronic data capture (EDC) systems and clinical data management software.
