Salary: Up to 150k base + 7% bonus

Location: New York, NY (3-4 days/week)

Visa sponsorship is NOT AVAILABLE


Responsibilities:

  • Identify, design, and implement a robust infrastructure for efficient data processing.
  • Optimize the loading, cleaning, transformation, and storage of complex financial, funding, and transactional data from various sources.
  • Utilize SQL, Python, and Snowflake for data handling and management.
  • Improve existing data models of BI tools, enhancing data accessibility and promoting data-driven decision-making across the bank
  • Build analytical tools to monitor risk: including interest rate, liquidity risks, funding, optionality and changes in risk across the market
  • Utilize tools to provide actionable insights for optimal balance sheet management.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, Finance, Engineering, Quantitative Finance or related required. (Master's preferred)
  • 3+ years of professional experience as a data engineer
  • Advanced Proficiency in SQL and Python. Proven track record of deploying and managing python codebase in a production setting.
  • Proven experience with Snowflake or similar Data Warehousing platforms.
  • Proficiency in using data visualization tools like QlikSense, Tableau, Plotly
  • Working knowledge of a Git repository for version control and collaborative development
  • Experience in handling, processing, and extracting value from large, disconnected datasets
  • Skilled in designing and implementing data pipelines for data flow
  • Experience in building high impact analytical tools
