Hourly Pay Rate Range - $60.00 to $80.00/HR (Depending on working experience)


The person in this role will:

• Provide day to day EHS support for our engineering labs and associated special projects, in both the manufacturing and R&D roles.

• Develop and implement EHS programs, and training.

• Partner with managers, supervisors, and team leaders in incident investigations, corrective action deployment, and effectiveness evaluations.

• Participate in local or project safety committees.

• Responsible for compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, including but not limited to, US EPA, US OSHA, DOT, state environmental and safety regulators, and industry group standards.

• Support the site level requirements for our ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 programs.

• Participate on the site Emergency Response programs including first-aid, CPR, spills, fire/evacuation, and other critical programs.

• Conduct periodic audits related to the EHS management systems, compliance, and company policy/procedure conformance.

• Track & monitor date required to complete all required environmental, safety, and other regulatory reports per local requirements.

• Be the EHS expert for the teams you support with excellent customer service.

• Audit your areas for conformance to company and regulatory EHS programs.

• Manage the site-level risk assessment process.

• Obtain and maintain appropriate EHS credentials required to be successful in this position. This includes but not limited to LSO certification, ISO internal auditor training, hazardous materials & hazardous waste management, and DOT. (MUST)


Qualifications

• 3-5 years of EHS experience

• Experience in California environmental and safety regulations is a must.

• Laser Safety Officer (LSO Certification a Must Have) qualification

• Experience working in a diverse, fast-paced environment

• Must be proficient in MS Office programs

• Excellent project management skills and ability to work to commitments

• Communicate concepts in a succinct and easy to comprehend manner

• Experience with EHS Management Systems (ISO 14001 & ISO 45001) preferred

• Professional EHS certifications like CHMM, CSP, or CIH are preferred (PLUS)


Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Level Degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience in a large facility or multiple locations.
