Our kitchen features an open area where cold dishes and pinsa are skillfully prepared, alongside an enclosed kitchen dedicated to crafting hot, flavorful meals.
Position: Executive Chef
We are seeking a talented and passionate Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team and elevate our culinary offerings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Italian cuisine and a flair for creativity, along with proven leadership abilities to inspire and manage our culinary staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation.
• Develop and execute seasonal menus, incorporating local ingredients and current culinary trends.
• Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling to maintain optimal performance.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
• Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in managing food cost and waste.
• Innovate and create new dishes that align with the restaurant’s vision and guest preferences.
• Lead by example in a fast-paced environment, promoting teamwork and a positive work culture.
Qualifications:
• Culinary degree or equivalent experience in a high-volume kitchen.
• Extensive knowledge of Italian cuisine and cooking techniques.
• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably as a Chef de Cuisine or Sous Chef.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
• A passion for food and a commitment to excellence in culinary arts.
