An established and reputable casual upscale restaurant in the East Side of Cincinnati, Ohio, is seeking a seasoned and dynamic Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team. Our restaurant has been a beloved neighborhood spot for decades, known for its consistent quality and welcoming atmosphere. We are looking for an experienced chef who can prioritize cost management, foster a positive work culture, and drive profitability while maintaining our successful menu.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the kitchen team, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
Develop and implement cost-effective practices, including efficient inventory management and purchasing strategies.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development.
Oversee daily kitchen operations, maintaining a focus on profitability and efficiency.
Collaborate with management on menu planning, seasonal specials, and special events.
Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness and organization.
Continuously seek ways to improve processes and reduce waste without compromising quality.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar leadership role within a casual upscale or fine dining establishment.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a focus on cost control and efficiency.
In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and attention to detail.
Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred but not required.
